Animo, producer of coffee and tea brewing systems, strengthen their position on the UK market

Recently, Top Trade Matching BV successfully completed a matching project in the UK for Animo BV. This company produces industrial coffee and tea brewing machines and distributes their products through dealerships and branch offices worldwide. The buyers of Animo products stem from catering equipment firms, coffee roasters, hotel chains and fast food chains. “Despite all our efforts on the English market, we could not succeed in selecting the right dealers who could sell and service our products. The experience, know how and the extensive network of Top Trade Matching in northern Europe, helped us to set up a structural market position in England” says Mr Van Blokland, export manager for Animo BV. During the acquisition, Gerry Creighton, export manager for Top Trade Matching BV made contact with potential dealers of coffee and tea brewing systems for Animo BV. The 12 most promising dealers have been personally visited both at the hotel and restaurant trade fair “ Hotelympia” at the Earls Court in London and at their company offices in the UK, so as to discuss the possibility of a dealership for Animo BV. The matching project resulted in 9 potential dealer contacts. One major contract has since been closed with a major distributor, who can also offer a nationwide service. “Three dealers of catering equipment would like to represent our products in both England and the Republic of Ireland. Thanks to the efforts of Gerry Creighton, we will be able to strengthen our position on the English market” explains Mr Van Blokland. The follow up of the contacts from the matching project will be executed by Animo BV themselves.
